Effective Date: October 2026
ActionLoop does not collect any personal data. It has no accounts, no servers, no analytics and no advertising, and nothing it records or stores leaves your device.
ActionLoop uses your camera and microphone to record video and sound so it can show you a delayed replay. While the app is open, the most recent footage is held temporarily on your device, in memory and in temporary files. It is discarded automatically as recording continues, and anything left over is removed the next time the app starts. It is never uploaded.
When you tap Save, ActionLoop adds a clip to your Photos library. It asks only for permission to add to your library, so it cannot see the photos and videos already there. From version 1.2, a copy of the clip you saved last is also kept in the app's private storage so you can review it in the app; it is replaced by your next save and removed when the app restarts.
In version 1.2 and later you can choose a reference video to compare against. The system photo picker gives ActionLoop only the video you choose, and the app keeps a copy in its private storage until you replace or remove it.
Your settings, such as a reference video's mirroring and alignment, are stored on your device.
Deleting ActionLoop removes everything it stores. Clips you saved to Photos stay there until you delete them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
